Frequently Asked Questions

About The Electric Loft

It's one open room that's all yours, with tables and chairs included, a full kitchen, and your own vendors. The 1,900 square feet of open space transforms to match your vision, whether that's an elegant wedding, energetic quinceañera, or professional corporate event. But what really makes us unique? Pro actually answers the phone. You can bring any vendors you want. And we treat your event like it matters, because to us, it does.

You have 1,900 square feet of flexible, open space to work with. That translates to 75-100 guests depending on your setup. At 75, everyone has room to breathe, mingle, and dance. At 100, it's cozy but absolutely comfortable. The beauty is that the space doesn't feel empty with 50 or cramped with 100, it adapts to your crowd size naturally. That's enough room for your ceremony, dinner, and dancing without feeling cramped, but intimate enough that your celebration feels warm and connected.

Yes. The venue has air conditioning and heating, plus three fans in the space, and we keep the temperature at an average of 65 degrees throughout the venue.

We're perfect for 75-100 guests. At 75, everyone has room to mingle, dance, and celebrate comfortably. At 100, it's full but not squeezed. This is the size where you can actually spend time with each guest, where nobody gets lost in the crowd, where your event feels like a gathering of people who matter, not a convention.

Completely flexible. Long family-style tables for that intimate dinner party feel? Beautiful. Traditional rounds for formal events? Classic. All cocktail tables for mingling? Perfect. Theater-style for presentations? Easy. The space transforms based on your vision, not the other way around. We can even do multiple setups in one event, ceremony, then dinner, then dancing.ter, not a convention.

Yes, reliable WiFi that handles event needs, streaming music, social media posting, video calls for remote guests. For events with heavy tech requirements, just let Pro know in advance so we can make sure everything's ready.

People love the loft for its natural light: tall windows, exposed brick, and warm hardwood floors. We also installed smart bulbs that switch to a daylight setting indoors, so photos stay bright after the sun goes down. A two-light setup is included through our partnership with IE Photo Rentals, and any camera or lens rental from IE Photo Rentals is 50% off when you book the space.

Yes. The Electric Loft is a 1,900 square foot reception hall on the second floor of the M&M Electric Building in downtown Pomona. It seats up to 100 for a wedding reception, quinceañera, or family dinner, and the same room works as a banquet hall, a corporate meeting space, or a natural light photo studio during the week.

Types of Events We Host

Everything from intimate weddings to milestone birthdays, baby showers to quinceañeras, corporate meetings to art shows, photo shoots to anniversary parties. We've even hosted music video shoots, pop-up shops, and book launches. If you're gathering people to celebrate, create, or connect, our space adapts to your vision. The only thing we won't host? Events with glitter cannons (that stuff is immortal).

Your team deserves better than fluorescent-lit conference rooms. We've hosted board meetings, product launches, holiday parties, and team workshops. The natural light keeps people energized, the room has real character, and the Arts District location says you're innovative, not corporate-boring. Plus, you can bring any caterer, from business lunch to food trucks.

Photographers and videographers love us. Book hourly, half-day, or full-day. The light is incredible, you get multiple looks in one location, and Pro is flexible about moving furniture for different shots. We've hosted fashion shoots, music videos, product photography, and social media content creation. No permit needed for interior shooting.

Every age worth celebrating! First birthdays with extended family, sweet sixteens that rival quinceañeras, 30th birthdays that dance till closing, sophisticated 50th gatherings, joyful 90th celebrations. The space works for afternoon family parties or evening dance parties. Age is just a number, celebrating is what matters.

Our natural light makes afternoon showers magical. Most hosts love round tables for 8-10, creating intimate conversation spaces. The gift table fits perfectly by the entrance, desserts look beautiful against the brick wall, and there's room for games and mingling. We've hosted showers from 20 to 80 guests, each feeling perfectly sized.

Networking events thrive here. The open layout encourages mingling, the natural bar area works perfectly for cocktails, and the atmosphere is professional but approachable. We've hosted chamber mixers, industry meetups, and professional associations. Your caterer can do passed apps or stations, whatever serves your networking style.

Yes, and the space was practically made for them. The court of honor stages on the hardwood floor, the lights shift for the vals and the surprise dance, and the brick photographs beautifully. See our quinceañera venue page for details.

Weddings Questions

Yes, and we've perfected the transition! Your ceremony happens in our beautiful main space with guests seated exactly how you envision. Then while you're taking those golden hour photos, your guests enjoy cocktails in our adjacent space. During that hour, Neece and our team completely transform the loft into your reception setup. Your guests return to find a totally different room, it feels like magic.

Yes, Neece comes with every wedding package, not as an upsell but because we believe every couple deserves professional support on their day. She's coordinated dozens of weddings in our exact space. She knows where the light hits perfectly at 6 PM, how to time everything flawlessly, and which local vendors never disappoint. She handles logistics while you stay present with your loved ones.

We have a comfortable preparation space directly across the street, perfect for getting ready. Great natural light for makeup, room for your photographer to capture those anticipation moments, space for your wedding party to relax. You're close enough to walk over easily but separate enough to keep that first-look surprise special.

When you book both ceremony and reception, we include access to our adjacent space for cocktail hour. Your guests stay entertained and comfortable while we transform the main loft. It's seamless, they're sipping and chatting, you're taking photos, we're creating magic. Nobody feels forgotten or shuffled around.

Like a well-rehearsed dance. Ceremony ends, we guide guests to cocktail hour, you head to photos. Our team immediately starts: moving chairs, setting tables, adjusting lights, placing centerpieces. Takes exactly one hour. Neece oversees every detail. You return to find your reception ready, guests seated, music playing. Zero stress for you.

Everything essential: 5-6 hours venue time, tables and chairs for all guests, basic linens, complete setup/breakdown, full kitchen access, our 19 RGB lights for ambiance, and Neece as your coordinator. No surprise fees, no service charges, no "cake cutting fees." The price we quote is exactly what you pay.

Saturday weddings typically book 6-9 months out. Fridays and Sundays have more flexibility. Spring and fall fill fastest. But honestly? Call Pro and ask about your date. Sometimes we have last-minute availability, sometimes couples' plans change. The sooner you reach out, the more options you'll have.

Food & Vendors Questions

Yes, with no restrictions. You can use any caterer you like, and full kitchen access is included with every rental. We also keep a curated vendor list if you want recommendations, but there are no exclusive contracts and no preferred-vendor fees.

Yes. The full kitchen is included and comes equipped with a fridge, stove, prep tables, sink, and microwave. It works great for caterers and for family-style cooking.

Absolutely. Family-cooked food is a tradition we love hosting. The kitchen is yours for prep, warming, and serving, and our team will show your crew around when they arrive.

Beer, wine, and champagne are permitted. Hard liquor requires a licensed bartender. If you tell us what you are planning, we will point you in the right direction.

Yes. Outside cakes, desserts, and sweets tables are always welcome, and the kitchen fridge is available to keep everything ready.

We do. After years of events we keep a curated list of caterers, photographers, florists, DJs, and coordinators who show up and deliver. Use them or bring your own, it is completely up to you.

Your rental includes a setup hour before the event, and vendors typically load in then. One honest heads-up: we are a second-floor loft with stair access only, so tell your vendors in advance so they bring the right crew and carts.
