This is a brick loft on the second floor of the M&M Electric Building, built in 1896, right in 91766. Original brick on all four walls, 15 foot ceilings, wood floors, and tall windows facing the street. If you’ve been searching for a unique photo shoot location near 91766 and keep landing on the same seamless backdrops, this is the other option. Photo is $100 an hour, video starts at $125, two hour minimum, and you’re welcome to use the kitchen for craft services. No permit, no location scout, no city paperwork, and nobody hovering while you work.
Photographers book by look, so here’s the look.
No cyc wall, no seamless, no grip package. Bring what you need. Worth knowing: the freight path is up one flight of stairs, so plan the cart accordingly. The same Electric Loft event space hosts weddings and showers on weekends, so weekday daytime slots are the easiest to get.
The windows run the length of the street side, so the room gets bright, even daylight for most of the day and warmer light as the afternoon goes on. Most portrait sessions land between 9am and 1pm. If you’re after a specific look, hard shadows across the brick or flat and even, tell us when you book and we’ll point you at the right slot.

Photo shoots are $100 per hour. Video shoots are $125 per hour Monday through Friday and $150 per hour on weekends. There is a 2-hour minimum, and you book only the hours you need.

All-day natural light from north-facing windows, 19 color-changing smart lights, kitchen access with fridge, stove, prep tables, and sink, one restroom, A/C and heating, and a small speaker. Tables, chairs, stools, and couches are available on request.
Yes. Booking the loft gets you 50% off any equipment rental from IE Photo Rentals, and backdrops are $15 each. Strobe and video lighting setups are optional add-ons. Ask in advance to ensure availability.
Specialty pieces are welcome: wicker chairs, couches, LED cubes, champagne walls, and similar props. We do not allow outside table and chair rentals, which protects the original hardwood. Coordinate all drop-offs and pickups within your booked time.
Shoots can run as early or as late as you like. Music must be at a listening level by 10pm on weekdays. No smoking, no glitter, no confetti. We are one flight up with stair access only, so bring an extra set of hands for heavy gear.
